Short Version
One Earth Sangha’s newest EcoSattva Training is open now, and I’m delighted to share that I am a contributor. This course is a journey of brave and tender reckoning with a dramatically changing world. As we cultivate clear seeing, supported by radical Dharma wisdom, justice-informed analysis, and a growing community of engaged practitioners, we may discover new pathways opening to us.

As a contributor to One Earth Sangha’s latest EcoSattva Training, I wanted to suggest that this may be a helpful offering to our Sangha to support them in a “brave and tender confrontation” with our dramatically changing world. Designed to cultivate wisdom, connection and compassionate action, this eight-part, self-paced course offers teachings and practices from various Dharma traditions and the growing field of climate psychology.
I understand that the course is especially valuable when experienced in the context of Sangha. One Earth Sangha encourages this and offers discounts to members of groups. Perhaps this could be offered to our Sangha, either all together or in small groups. We might even seek one or more volunteers to act as organizers.
Amid a world undergoing dramatic change and with the commensurate rise in practitioners’ eco-anxiety, our Sangha can cultivate a way forward that is attuned to their suffering, grounded in Dharma, and empowering of skillful response.
