Grounded in the idea that Buddhist ethics calls on us to mitigate and adapt to climate change, the GALA program, freely offered on a dāna basis, will share practices, conceptual frameworks, and workshops to support participants in mindful and skillful engagement in a world with a rapidly changing climate.

The Earth Awareness Teacher Training is for mindfulness and meditation teachers who are passionate about integrating mindfulness and meditation with a deep connection to the Earth and who aim to build capacity for spiritual and psychological resilience in the face of environmental and climate crises. This program is fully funded through the generosity of the BESS Family Foundation, and is offered free of charge to participants. APPLICATION opens July 1st. Early application deadline is August 15th.

A monthly online drop-in group, grounded in Buddhist teachings, inquiry, and community practice, to build equanimity in the midst of the climate crisis and develop capacity for a wise response.

As we find ourselves moving into increasing ecological crisis and its impact on the planet and our lives, the Buddha’s teaching and the teachings of the Earth become ever more relevant and essential.
