This is a series of four online conversations, held weekly on Sundays.
From the organizer:
These are intense days.
We’re living with the uncertainty and danger of a global pandemic. We are finally awakening en masse to the deadly injustices of structural racism. And we’re grappling with the existential threat of ecological collapse and climate disruption.
On four consecutive Sundays, Sangha Live founder and guiding teacher, Martin Aylward, will sit with fellow Dharma practitioners and teachers to explore the heart of these times, with each other, and in discussion with online participants.
Dates and guest speakers:
- July 5: Climate scientist and educator-activist Sensei Kritee Kanko, PhD
- July 12: Award-winning poet and psychologist Sanah Ahsan
- July 19: Mindfulness teacher Kaira Jewel Lingo
- July 26: Buddhist teacher and NYC Department of Correction Executive Director of Chaplaincy, Lama Justin Von Bujdoss
This event is hosted by Sangha Live.

One Earth Sangha offers a global list of events that express a Buddhist / mindfulness response to ecological crises. We invite you to join or add events that develop and demonstrate our interdependence with all of life! Events that address multiple issues (e.g., racism, economic injustice and environmental health) are encouraged. You’re invited to list events from your local sangha, including earth-oriented day-longs, retreats and even regular sangha meetings. We also want you to share demonstration and direct action events. You, the members of our Sangha, are encouraged to submit events, whether they be from the Dharma community, other faith groups or secular, where you wish to gather other Buddhist / mindfulness practitioners to participate. To submit an event, please email us.
This growing list of events will always be available here and in the main menu under “Get Involved.”
