This is an online event.
From the organizer:
How can Buddhism help us understand and respond to the ecological crisis? This course will explore the environmental implications of the Buddhist path, including the role of meditation in the natural world, parallels between our usual individual predicament and our collective situation today, and a new understanding of the bodhisattva – or ecosattva – path. This course will be held online through the Zoom platform.
Our intention is to build sangha and provide meaningful virtual interactions with each other and teachers in our online courses. When registering for an online course, please note that you should plan to commit to the course for the entire time period outlined — beginning on the evening of the first day and ending in the afternoon of the final day.
This event is hosted by Barre Center for Buddhist Studies.
