Awake in the Wild
With Mark Coleman
On this silent meditation retreat we will spend the entire time meditating in the beauty, stillness and serenity of this Rocky Mountain landscape at RMERC. We will take our Dharma practice outdoors as a support for cultivating an embodied, sensory awareness that supports insight and understanding as well as heart opening joy, wonder and profound connection with the natural world.
The cost for the retreat is $415-$485, depending on your choice of accommodation. This cost covers your stay at the center, but does not pay for Mark’s teaching, He receives no payment from this fee.. You will have the opportunity to offer Mark dana (a donation) at the end of the retreat as a way to support his continued teaching.
This event is hosted by Awake in the Wild.

One Earth Sangha offers a global list of events that express a Buddhist / mindfulness response to ecological crises. We invite you to join or add events that develop and demonstrate our interdependence with all of life! Events that address multiple issues (e.g., racism, economic injustice and environmental health) are encouraged. You’re invited to list events from your local sangha, including earth-oriented day-longs, retreats and even regular sangha meetings. We also want you to share demonstration and direct action events. You, the members of our Sangha, are encouraged to submit events, whether they be from the Dharma community, other faith groups or secular, where you wish to gather other Buddhist / mindfulness practitioners to participate. To submit an event, please email us.
This growing list of events will always be available here and in the main menu under “Get Involved.”
