| Please tell us about your work, passions and/or talents with respect to the climate or justice movement | I went to a large amount of climate action over the last 18 months following my first which was with the Earth holder sangha and two monastics from PV the day Greta came to NY. I have also attended a large number of local and larger BLM actions, and am passionate about fair trade especially if the cocoa and coffee industry. I most recently attended the Love in Action plum village retreat. I also attended close to a dozen meditation protests and planned and facilitated one myself that was for a climate organization and held in honor of MLKjr and nonviolent direct action. |
| What is your past experience with trauma/stress healing? | I have engulfed myself in NVC trainings if different teachers throughout the pandemic as well have practiced somatic experience with multiple teachers. Additionally I have a degree in psychology concentration in neuroscience and social issues. |
| What are your goals for participating in this course? | To learn better ways to get through to people and not lose myself or my practice in social justice work. |
| What are some communities you’re a part of that might benefit from what you would be learning in this course? | Plum village sangha, BAC, earth holders, extinction rebellion, and some locals on Long Island. |
