Please tell us about your work, passions and/or talents with respect to the climate or justice movement | I have created a modality that combines meditation, astrology, creative practice and critical theory. My work centers around creating body-centered practices that, through practice, reveal collaborative systems of support based in collective softness and care. So much of this work is trusting the vision, senses and feeling of the body – through this practice we create a shrine to our muse – the museum of self. We come to see that the parts that make of the idea of self are a possibility space. My group is connected through the hologram practice, a radically innovative peer to peer feminist health network that attempts to create stable and healthy people who can survive the end of capitalism to build something new. I have as strong curiosity and willingness to engage in direct action in a team. I LOVE the idea of risky and inconvenient actions, that REALLY drew me in to applying. |
What is your past experience with trauma/stress healing? | I am a member of Alcoholics Anonymous (17 years of continuous sobriety from drugs and alcohol) and Alanon (14 years). I work the 12 steps and work with other Alcoholics and Alanon members. I also participate in the Hologram (see above) and am applying with other hologram members to this course. I practice Feeding Your Demons created by Lama Tsultrim Allione. I also practice Chod. I am a member of Tara Mandala Bay Area Sangha and engage in a 21 Tara practice weekly with Lopon Chandra Easton. I have done therapy on and off throughout my life. In all these modalities I have worked on my trauma and stress healing. |
What are your goals for participating in this course? | To work with a group toward common goals. To engage in collaboration and non violent action. To learn to take more direct action. To get uncomfortable, outside my comfort zone and take risky and inconvenient actions. |
What are some communities you’re a part of that might benefit from what you would be learning in this course? | The Hologram, Bay Area Tara Mandala, AA and Alanon, and Shrine of the Muse. |

Connections | We are connected through the Hologram practice, a radically innovative peer-to-peer feminist health network that attempts to create stable and healthy humans who can survive the end of capitalism to build something new. We are artists and activists urgently concerned with creating new subjectivities and actions to both resist extinction and create sustainable ways of living on earth. We are each connected to networks of artists and activists that are then connected through our hologram practice and will be connected through Dharma of Resistance. |
