Faith and History of Nonviolent Direct Action

Workshop 4: "Faith values & history of Nonviolent Direct Action"

Hosted by

The Australian Religious Response to Climate Change

From the Organizer:

There are many roles for people at the People’s Blockade that do not involve Civil Disobedience / Nonviolent Direct Action (NvDA), however NvDA is an integral part of Rising Tide’s game plan. The practice of nonviolence has its roots in the faith traditions, with early proponents being Gandhi and Martin Luther King. We will explore this history, the faith-based values that underpin NvDA.

The Australian Religious Response to Climate Change  is the host of this event. Please contact them with any questions.
