EcoSattva Training Panelist Invitation
One Earth Sangha is currently updating our EcoSattva Training, due to launch October 12th. We’re looking for people that are engaged in the world through a variety of means as a source of inspiration for EcoSattva Training participants. We're looking for a handful of people who maintain an active Dharma, mindfulness, or mindfulness-adjacent practice and are highly engaged in work on behalf of the living-Earth community to participate in a virtual panel.
We're looking for people that can comfortably speak from the heart to:
A diversity of communities and lived experiences;
The role of compassion, nonviolence, collective action, power, vision, authenticity, and courage;
The tensions one may face walking the path of practice and engagement with social and ecological justice;
How spiritual practice and social engagement interrelate and interact.
We're looking for artists and storytellers, policy wonks and legal advocates, disruptors and street-takers, healers and regenerators, trainers and strategists, organizers and researchers, working in the public, private, and unpaid on some aspect of the polycrisis, with a preference for work that explicitly touches the ecological. This list is incomplete. Many more important roles could be added on.
It's a sweet bonus if you've completed the EcoSattva Training yourself, but it's not a necessary qualification.
If selected, we will reach out by email to schedule a short preliminary interview, and then schedule a recorded Zoom panel with the other participants between early-September and mid-October. You'll receive a small honorarium for your time and contribution.
Thank you! We look forward to reading your submissions. Please reach out to
*protected email*
if you have any questions or experience any issues with the form.
This form will close on September 1st.
