A 6 month course with Lin Wang Gordon and Jon Aaron. The purpose of this course is to nurture climate resilience through learning about meditation practices and Buddhist philosophy, and to cultivate wisdom by directly working with the Earth through volunteering at an urban farm.

The retreat will include events at various locations, listening to the stories of our Native American elders, group sharing, as well as offering prayers for the earth and all its inhabitants. Our deepest connection to this land comes through our hosts and elders.

An EcoDharma Meditation Retreat with James and Jane Baraz

This retreat draws on both the liberating practices of the Insight Meditation tradition as well as nature-based practices and rituals. The intention is to deepen our understanding of the human mind and heart as well as our sense of belonging to the larger web of life. Virtual sessions also available.

Dekila Chungyalpa and Jonathan F.P. Rose will discuss psychological and emotional aspects of the environmental and climate crises. Dekila and Jonathan will also consider frameworks for inner, community, and planetary resilience.
