Remembering Ourselves as Earth

Buddhism and Ecology

Hosted by

The Sharpham Trust

From the Organizer:

In this retreat we’ll explore how traditional Buddhist teachings like interdependence & emptiness intersect with ecology – the science of relations between living beings. This retreat looks at ecology through a Buddhist lens and Buddhism through an ecological lens – it’s not a focus on the current ecological crisis, though that will be included.

The Sharpham Trust  is the host of this event. Please contact them with any questions.

Time and Place

With Sylvie Rokab

Join Sylvie Rokab and like-hearted individuals, in person, to commune with the land, and rediscover the beauty of belonging together in our natural world.
Ten Directions is a flexible online year-long ecotherapy training course rooted in Buddhist wisdom.

A Climate Café

In these quarterly gatherings, we will incorporate ritual, contemplations, discussion, art, writing and other ways of representing what we feel and know. This will provide an opportunity for communal witnessing of our felt responses to the environmental suffering that is taking place all over the world, and especially in the lives of marginalized populations.
