Waking Up in a Living World

With Cara Lai and Zac Ispa-Landa

Hosted by

Barre Center for Buddhist Studies

From the Organizer:

This program brings together Buddhist teachings of emptiness and interdependence, awakening and liberation, embodied mindfulness, and nature-connection practices to explore what it means to be human — and to belong — in a world that is wild, uncertain, impermanent, and astonishingly alive. We will practice in nature, with nature, and as nature. Offered freely in the spirit of generosity, supported in part by Dharma Gates and the broader community of donors. Intended for participants ages 18–35.

Barre Center for Buddhist Studies  is the host of this event. Please contact them with any questions.

Third Wednesday of every month

BCD offers a monthly gathering for those who want to engage in mindful reflection and find practical ways to be more involved in making change happen. We get together on the third Wednesday of every month.

A Year-Long Series, Monthly on Sundays

Hosted by Lama Willa and Deborah Eden Tull, these gatherings invite us to experience Dharma not as fixed doctrine, but as a living, relational field—one that emerges spontaneously through authentic dialogue and shared presence. Guests for this series include Kazu Haga, Susie Harrington, Kritee Kanko, Adam Lobel, Thanissara, and Karen Waconda-Lewis, with additional guests to be announced. You only need to register once to access the full year of monthly Dharma Dialogues and you may join at any point during the series.
