About This Role
We’re looking for a program manager to oversee our existing online programs and, with our team and partners, explore the development of new programs. As a start, you’ll be responsible for all aspects of EcoDharma Explorations and the EcoSattva Training. This will require skill in working with our team, our partners, and our teachers.
Our organization is shifting our strategic direction. You will bring skills in leadership and strategic thinking as the organization navigates this shift. In time, you’ll be responsible for researching, designing, implementing, and refining new programs that serve our organization’s vision and mission. This role will require skill in developing reciprocal partnerships with non-Dharma communities who align with that direction as well as our ethics and values.
Core Responsibilities
1. Program Stewardship: Existing Offerings
Manage One Earth Sangha’s current EcoDharma programs from concept to evaluation, including:
- Content Collaboration
- Work with the Director and partners to set the objectives, themes, and design of One Earth Sangha’s existing programs
- Guest and Teacher Liaison
- Identify, recruit, schedule, and prepare featured guests
- Collaborate on themes, structure, and session format
- Coordinate development and publishing of session materials
- Program Production
- Provide technical Zoom support and occasional live hosting
- Light website updates related to programs
- Collaborate with the Social Media Manager and Director on program promotion (mailing list, announcements, partnerships)
- Evaluation and Learning
- Track engagement, attendance, and participant feedback
- Coordinate post-program evaluation with Director, partners, and team
- Identify improvements and revisions for future versions
2. Program Development
In collaboration with the Director and One Earth Sangha team:
- Research and develop new EcoDharma programs aligned with organizational mission and vision
- Design pilot offerings and experimental short-run programs
- Test, evaluate, and revise new offerings
- Manage experimental collaborative projects
- Support cross-organizational partnerships and co-created offerings
3. Community and Partnership Development
- Support EcoDharma community development and engagement
- Help structure and sustain online community spaces and channels
- Train and support volunteer moderators
- Identify and cultivate relationships with aligned individuals and organizations
- Build partnerships that strengthen shared inquiry and experimental collaborations
Essential Qualifications
- Project or program management proficiency including setting priorities, designing / refining processes, coordinating with teammates, and owning outcomes
- Interest in EcoDharma as a foundation for wisdom, practice, and community
- Excellent collaboration skills, especially across organizations and movement spaces, with proven experience with community and partnership development
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- Effective written communication
- Comfort with technology and appetite for learning new systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Grounding in social and environmental justice, and systems change theories and practices
- Interest in cultivating online community spaces that support collective learning and transformation
- Experience information system including Google Workspace applications, Wordpress, Mailchimp, and Trello
Position Details
- Hours: 30 hours per week
- Rate: $25–35/hour, based on experience
- Benefits: Healthcare, dental, and vision; 401k
- Schedule: Flexible distribution of hours across the work week
- Location: Remote, within three hours of US Eastern Time
