An Evening Refuge

Holding Steady Through the US Elections

event

Hosted by

Sacred Mountain Sangha

From the Organizer:

As we move through the uncertainty and intensity surrounding the US elections, we invite you to join us for 40 minutes of refuge, meditation, chanting, and shared presence each day. Together, we’ll draw on the grounding practice of the Dharma, the strength of community, and compassion to steady ourselves, tend to what arises, and remember what matters most. All are welcome. Hosted by Kittisaro and Thanissara.

Sacred Mountain Sangha  is the host of this event. Please contact them with any questions.

From COP26 to Today

Five years on, ahead of COP31 and Inter Faith Week in the UK, it’s time to see what happened to the seeds of hope and action that were planted in Glasgow. In this special webinar, we will catch up with other Seeds of Hope and Action contributors of different faiths, including global majority activists, to gain critical insights on the state of environmental justice and/or interfaith friendship, and inspirations for moving forward.

A Conversation with Dr. Jessica Zu

This conversation series brings Black and Asian-American Buddhist scholars and practitioners together for honest dialogue about what it means to practice Buddhism in America today. These conversation partners aim to create bridges and ask nuanced questions — about ancestral practices and culture, about appropriation and erasure, and about what it means to evolve the Buddhist tradition to meet the current moment.
