An Ecodharma Gathering with Adam Lobel and Guhyapati

Hosted by

Dechen Chöling

From the Organizer:

This program explores how the perspectives and practices of Buddhist ecodharma can provide deep resources of clarity, courage, and ethical alignment for ecological and social transformation. Rather than separating inner practice from outer engagement, the gathering focuses on their mutual reinforcement: how meditation and view shape action, and how action in solidarity with life deepens practice.

Dechen Chöling  is the host of this event. Please contact them with any questions.

In most cultures, the symbol of a circle represents wholeness, and the potential for unity. When we come together as an intentional community, for personal development and healing, we are honoring the sacred. We will cultivate the collective practice of listening, witnessing, and holding space for the whole as we heal ourselves by acknowledging what needs to be healed. We will work with the Seasons, Elements, and Nature as direct mirrors for the healing process. Indigenous cultures recognize that the healing of self is connected to the whole community.

Food Systems, Land Stewardship, and Sustainable Worldviews

Dr. Lyla June has specialized in North American systems, but she has also learned about similar systems in every corner of the Earth, illuminating how humanity's true nature is to be a regenerative force and an instrument of beauty. We will learn from these systems to give us hope for the future. This is a six-week journey into the science, the stories, and the value systems of Indigenous regenerative practice.
