Mohsen Mahdawi is a Palestinian-born scholar, activist, and peacebuilder who grew up in a refugee camp before immigrating to the U.S. at 24. A masters in International Negotiation student at Columbia University and practicing Buddhist, he has dedicated his life to nonviolent advocacy, intercultural dialogue, and justice for all people. His leadership has inspired many, and his recent detention by ICE has sparked a national movement calling for his release.
