Community Climate Resilience Network Session

Community Care Teams Information Session

event

Hosted by

Minnesota Interfaith Power & Light

From the Organizer:

Communities of faith, conscience, and spiritual or religious practice are uniquely poised to provide care and connection to their communities during major events like smoke, excessive heat, or this upcoming election. MNIPL’s Community Climate Resilience Network (CCRN) brings together interested communities to learn more about what it takes to become a resilience hub or to coordinate with other resilience hubs before, during, and after times of need. These sessions offer training and conversation with other interested groups and are the first step towards becoming a place of refuge and support for your neighbors.

Minnesota Interfaith Power & Light  is the host of this event. Please contact them with any questions.

A Year-Long Series, Monthly on Sundays

Hosted by Lama Willa and Deborah Eden Tull, these gatherings invite us to experience Dharma not as fixed doctrine, but as a living, relational field—one that emerges spontaneously through authentic dialogue and shared presence. Guests for this series include Kazu Haga, Susie Harrington, Kritee Kanko, Adam Lobel, Thanissara, and Karen Waconda-Lewis, with additional guests to be announced. You only need to register once to access the full year of monthly Dharma Dialogues and you may join at any point during the series.

A Masterclass with Helena Norberg-Hodge

Helena Norberg-Hodge examines how the scale, speed and distance of the modern economy have broken our relationships with community, nature, place and one another. She asks what it would take to move from a path of disconnection to reconnection, ultimately recovering our deep interdependence with the rest of life. This is an invitation to see more clearly, understand more deeply, recover our spiritual roots, and discover new possibilities for action. Exploring localization offers a practical pathway towards both inner and outer systemic change.

A Four Part Series on Buddhist Eco-Chaplaincy (Panel 4)

Kaira Jewel Lingo and Fr. Adam Bucko join Rev. Chelsea MacMillan to explore interfaith spiritual care in response to the climate crisis. Register by Oct 26. Financial assistance deadline Oct 20.
