On November 28, over 5000 Buddhists will be in Paris to present the Buddhist Declaration on Climate Change before the UN Climate Conference in December.

We join our sisters and brothers in a public demonstration of meditation and a reading of the Declaration.

Please join us in silent meditation, prayer and contemplation.

    Great to see this happening in Halifax. I’m in NS too, on the North Shore, and also connected to One Earth Sanga. I wanted to make sure you know about the Green Ribbon for Climate action campaign, greenribbonforclimate.org. It’s made in NS and travelling the world. It has been incorporated in the two weeks of Buddhist climate activities, http://gbccc.org/15-days-of-buddhist-climate-action/, suggested by the Thich Nhat Hanh community and endorsed by Global Buddhist Climate Change Collective.
    I hope you can check out the website, and if you like the idea you can get green ribbon (no charge) at the Ecology Action Centre on Brunswick St for your event, or for sharing in your community.
