Discover how to repair and establish robust, personal social support networks connecting across economic, cultural, and geographic boundaries. Find out how to take responsibility for promoting individual and collective resilience while organizing “neighborhood hubs” where people come together to share information, check in on each other, and obtain needed resources in an emergency.
Gain insight into how to motivate voluntary, nonprofit, private, and public organizations to build a local culture of resilience, by having them incorporate resilience principles and practices into their programs and policies.
Each of these lessons will incorporate methods to cultivate awareness of and manage racial and cultural biases to prevent and repair social injustices and inequities.
