We are in the midst of a deep ecological/social/political crisis. The Buddha practiced and taught over 2500 years ago. What is the relevance of his teachings today? How can they help us deal with our reactions to the world’s plight? How can they inform our efforts to create positive change in the world? We will consider these questions in the context of a traditional Theravada Mindfulness retreat in silence, with seated meditation. walking meditation, daily meditation instruction and dhamma talks, and individual practice meetings/instructions for all yogis. All of the walking practice will be out of doors (weather permitting) so that student may practice in RMERC’s beautiful natural world. In addition there will be time every day for students to optionally hike by themselves on the land and an optional 40 minute gentle yoga class every day.

Rocky Mountain Ecodharma Retreat Center  is the host of this event. Please contact them with any questions.
