Organised by The Centre for Applied Buddhism and SGI-UK

Hosted by

The Centre for Applied Buddhism

From the Organizer:

This webinar will explore the ways in which climate change and climate action intersect with racial equity, and the crucial role that racial justice plays in terms of both environmental impact and solutions.

Speakers include Rehena Harilall from Buddhists Across Traditions, 17-year old climate activist Anita Okunde, Hip Hop poet PJ deGraft-Johnson, and the event will be hosted by renowned story-teller Jan Blake. Questions addressed include: Why is climate a racial issue and why does climate action require an intersectional approach? There will be an opportunity to ask questions in a Q&A.
