This retreat will explore internal and external quiet, the teachings of nature and the wisdom of the body. We will do this through meditation, movement and connection with the outdoors, spending as much time outside as the weather allows. In meditation practice we will connect with nature through all of our physical senses. Movement practices will include somatic meditations and mindful movement, which will nurture our relationship with our bodies, our intuition, the natural world, and the unknown. The retreat will be held in silence, with periodic interactive sessions. The retreat will also explore some Ecodharma content, the applying of dharma teachings to the ecological crisis. We will foster deep relationship with the Earth as our witness and healer.
